2. Receive automatic text message alerts from your online calendar
Another great free feature google offers is an online calendar that you customize to your personal needs. After your calendar is set up you can have it send you text message reminders when ever you want, check up for upcoming events or you can text message your calendar new events.
First you need to go to google calender and set up your account and configure you cell phone (it very simple just follow the mobile setup option). Then all you need to do is set up your event and the time you want to be notified about it.
Once you have your calendar set up you will start receiving reminders. You can also text GVENT (48368) to find out whats on your calendar. You do this by texting Gvent (48368) the word "next" to find out your next event on the calendar, "day" to find out all events for that day and "nday" for tomorrows events.
Hooray! Now you won't miss a credit card bill or your best friends wedding.
3. Track Calories
No need to worry about if what you are about it eat has to many or to little calories. Just text Diet1 (34381) with the major food chain and the item on the menu and diet.com with send you the nutritional value of that item. That includes calories, fat, carbs and protein.
